FOTD: Rainbow Eyes (C-Shock Dupe)

I LOVE the LA Colors eyeshadow palette! For you ladies who missed the C-Shock Collection from MAC (like I did) which featured bright eye-popping colors, this palette is a great dupe of it, and of course at a great price! It is available on CherryCulture.com, the palette is called "Pixi", although the label on mine said "Tease".

Swatches:

Here is the look I did using ONLY the colors in this palette. As you can see, the color payoff (pigmentation) is awesome, comes out vibrant in just one swipe. I did NOT use a base or primer, this is just straight on my eyelid.

NO EYELINER:

For the lips, I used NYX Lipgloss in "Barbie Pink":

Excuse the un-groomed eyebrows, I did this look at the end of the day...so I was already worn out haha...

  4. Wow.. these colors are so vibrant! If I hadn't known, I would've thought you used pigments! So pretty! Vanessa I'm going to have to try wearing drizzle gold underneath my foundation.. from you pictures, I see what you mean by it giving you that glow! Very pretty! I'll let you know how it goes! Thanks for the tip!

  6. OMGoodness!!! I have this product. I couldn’t get it to work like how you did. Did you use a mixing medium or did you apply it straight on a base?

CARAMEL- I didn't use a base or a primer, I just applied it straight on my lid.

BIONIC- Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

SOPHIE- I used the sponge tip applicator that came with the palette.

  15. Hi Nessa and everybody,
this is a late entry I guess and might never be read, but I just wanted to say this, if it might help anyone with the L.A. colors.
I don't know if it's just me but when I put some form of base on the colors don't show up at all, let alone like Nessa's amazing look, but without base the colors do show up and the sponge tip applicator is great for packing on colours. That was my 2 cents!
take care and keep up the fantastic job!
    P.
