I've had some questions about certain brushes and what I use them for, so I did a video on the brushes I use daily, so I hope that clarifies any confusion especially among the MAC Brushes!
Also, I know many of you were asking where I got the brush that I used to contour my nose in my last video, it was some Korean/Japanese store I got it awhile back so I can't remember whether I got it here or in Washington where my parents live, I think I got it here, but I will look around and let you know if I find them. :)
Here is a list of some future posts:
- (I'll TRY!) to do a video for the hepcat and pinked mauve FOTD (request by Anne)
- Bronze/Natural Look (request by Sara)
- FOTD Using Urban Decay Eyeshadow Palette
- ANOTHER Liquidation Sale!!! Probably by New Year!
- More product reviews!
looking forward on your future tuts. i'm crossing my fingers for my request :).
ReplyDeleteanyways, thanks for giving an overview on brushes. seriously, before all these makeup blogs i thought there was really no big difference with the brushes but the shape. hahaha. but, i think i'll probably buy the sephora ones first cuz of the cute case. but the too faced brushes are sooo cute and soft too... so it's a big debate for me right now xP.
btw, thanks for letting me know where nyx e/s are available. so i went to an Amuse store today (in Valencia), and i'm so upset cuz they're like $2-4 cheaper than the one i bought at the cabazon outlets. i assumed that the ones i got are cheaper since i bought it in an outlet store. guess not. now i know better :( oh wells.
anyways, i'm just waiting till finals are over then i'm going to start playing with my make-up. hahaha. i gotta get practicing by the time i start my new job. cant be going to work looking like a bum. lol.
anyways, thanks again for taking the time to make a video. i'll prolly check those brushes out soon. and yes, we definitely need to get on that make-up shopping soon!
ooh btw, i was looking around sephora.com... and i saw this:

5 bucks. can you believe it?!
whoops... i just realized they're already out of stock. boohoo.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny that you had to have a liquidation sale because you have too much makeup! I'd do that too but alas, living in Canada makes it too expensive to ship. So instead, I just give stuff away to my friends!
ReplyDeleteI have to say, you're quite brave to post videos up! LOL, I think I'd get nervous and stutter too much.
When you get the chance Vanessa, please post up a tutorial on how to do a cats eye. For some reason, I just can't do this without looking like Amy Winehouse (okay, not that bad! LOL) rather than Angelina Jolie.
That was a great video tutorial Vanessa, thanks very much. I will definitely find time to make a trip to Target or Sephora to get a better blending brush!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the video Vanessa! But, I didn't have time to watch the whole thing at work :(
ReplyDeleteI certainly don't have as many brushes as you do, but can you recommend your top 5 must haves to complete your entire look? Just want to see if I'm covered :D
Hope you're having a great day!

ReplyDeleteHaha... you're so cute. :D I was such a tomboy when I was a kid and I play videogames too! :D I'm dying to play Heavenly Sword! :D Hehe. Hmm... you make me REALLY want that Sonia Kashuk Blending brush... I have E.L.F.'s but it's not that dense... so I'm curious about Sonia Kashuk's! :D
ReplyDeleteGreat Video as always! :D
Thanks Lea, Aquadisia, Nilla, Christiana, you ladies are the sweetest! I agree AQUADISIA, the essence of beauty brushes are such a steal for such great quality!
