What you need (I also included substitutions):
- Chapstick
- Lip Erase (can also use a cream or solid concealer, mineral or powder foundation, neutral lipsticks such as MAC's "Myth" or "Fleshpot")
- Light pink or flesh-toned lip color
I used: MAC l/s in "Myth", and MAC l/s in "California Dreamin'"
Some good neutral lipsticks/lipglosses?
- NYX "Circe" or "Rea"
- MAC Lipsticks: Myth, Siss, Cherish, Hug Me, Fleshpot, Blankety, 3N (LE) (these are just the ones I tried, but there are other great ones so check out www.maccosmetics.com)
- Neutral lipglosses: MAC Dazzleglass in "Baby Sparks", MAC Lipglass in "C-Thru", MAC lipglass in "Underage", MAC Lacquer in "Babied", NYX "Taupe", NYX "Beige", NYX "Smokey Eyes", MAC Lipglass in "Bonus Beat" (LE)
You can pat it or purse your lips together to make it "even" and not streaky, I forgot to do that in this pic but you get the point!
that is a lovely nude lippie :)thanks for the tips
ReplyDeletethanks manang nessa for this awesome tutorial.. "myth" is kind of very light for me, so i will just use this as a base.. manang nessa, been really lemming for lip erase since i saw your review about it.. is "myth" comparable to lip erase? because i have discoloration on my lips and i want to tone them a bit..
ReplyDeleteI've been wondering how to pull off neutral lips - I don't touch lipstick, no idea what suits me! (Off to the MAC store in London soon for advice)

looking gorgeous as usual! I am usually too lazy to put on a layer of concealer or powder to neutralize my lips. I just slap on some lipstick or gloss and go lol.
ReplyDeleteLooks great Vanessa! I could never pull off a nude lip, I'd look too washed out! :(
ReplyDeleteThat's a neat trick. I usually just mix my lip liner or this pink lipstick I have with some foundation, but this color is so much prettier.
