MSF Crew: Gold Deposit, Gold Spill, & Petticoat

[Camera used for this post: Nikon D40x]

I caved. I took my cousin shopping at the mall today (she's 13) since I hardly spend time with her, some of my relatives from Jersey are visiting Cali; so while everyone was catching up, we snuck out to do some damage. And right before we were leaving, I just had to swatch some of the MSF's again...this time "Gold Deposit" caught my eye, OMG it's GORGEOUS! I love GOLDS, so right when I swatched it on my hand--it was LOVE! Compared to "So Ceylon" it was just so pretty, and my cousin thought it was the nicest one out of all of them, so I proceeded to tell the MA to ring me up, and as he was, I decided to swatch "Petticoat" again too, and again--I was in LOVE! So I ended up adding that and "Stark Naked" beauty powder blush.

"Gold Spill" I bought awhile back from the Flashtronic collection, but I thought id include it since it sums up MY MSF collection, yes it's small compared to others, but I hardly use them considering there's enough to last you a lifetime! Also, I didn't start buying MAC until last year. Seriously. It started with one eyeshadow, "Vex" and it went downhill from there, LOL. So I apologize in advance if I am not in the know of past re-promotes/collections, I only know of collections from "C-Shock" and up.

Anyway, the MSF's make great blushes and highlighters. I definitely love Petticoat, it looks so nice on the skin and they all give a nice glow! It's a rose pink with a touch of brown, "Gold Deposit" is like a deep burnt gold, or a bronze with copper orange, and "Gold Spill" is a nice champagne beige shimmer. "Stark Naked" is a nice soft pink with a tinge of purple and gold flecks of shimmer, reminds me of a lighter version of MAC's "Flirt & Tease" blush mixed with "Gentle" blush.

I forgot to do a swatch of "Stark Naked" so I will do a look using it soon! And I finally got around to replying to all of you on C-box ------>!

  4. Petticoat is gorgeous. I have been waiting for this re-promote for several years now... Goldspill is cool, but I am not sure why that MSF is perm...unless there was a ton leftover from the Flashtronic collection.
