New Urban Decay Items

It looks like Urban Decay has heard our cries in regards to the amount of product being wasted in their infamous Primer Potion (eyeshadow base), however they did not change the bottle, just angled the wand, hmmmm I am wondering if that should completely solve the problem...I see it helping, but I think their might still be a lot of product that this clever little angled wand might miss, if any of you ladies happen to get this new and improved version of UDPP, let me know how you like it!

They also made their UDPP 60% bigger! Damn that is a lot of primer potion loving right there!

  3. I personally think they should've changed the shape of the bottle as well..

  4. Oh wow! Hmm, I don't think the angled wand will not solve the problem completely, but it will help get more product out than the old wand did. And it's bigger!? It took me forever to get through one bottle haha.

  5. I don't think the wand will change much but at the same time, UDPP won't be the same without its original cute genie bottle shape

  6. I think it's kind of ridiculous that they didn't change the bottle. I remember months and months ago when they released a statement that they were trying to perfect the new bottle design and that they had several different models they were to choose from. It's as if they were just lying and stalling to get us to buy the remainder of the old bottles, and then released one with just the wand changed?! I thought it was strange when they released the sin potion with the exact same bottle, at the same time that they were supposedly working hard on a new design. Sorry this is long lol I get heated when companies think we are stupid

  8. i once read a reply from UPDD about this packaging issue and thought the reply was utterly thoughtless. (Saying that if you cut the UDPP, you'd face the chance to lose your fingers and UD is not responsible for that and what we pay for the REACHABLE amount and etc.) horrid!!!

but looks like someone there is thinking.

  12. ladies, you should try the new smashbox eye primer. the bottle doesn't try to be cute and waste space and it works just as well if not BETTER (that's right, i said it) than UDPP.
plus it does a better job of evening out eyelid skin if you want to wear it alone.
    try it!

  15. You girls should try the ArtDeco eyeshadow base, it should be cheaper than UDPP or TFSI.

I'm glad the applicator/brush thingie's been changed, that should help, but how much I'm not sure. Can't wait to hear how things go.

  17. awesome. maybe I can actually try out a regular size bottle of UDPP without worrying about hurting myself!

  18. oooo... MORE PRODUCT eh. i guess that somewhat balances out the suckyness of the bottle. lol.

  19. I'm not convinced this is the answer either. I'm dying to hear from someone who buys it, uses it, then cuts it open to see what's still left!

I'm still trying to figure out how the doe foot works - it has to bend (straighten out) to get through the top. For the sake of arguement, let's say it's a springy thing that automatically goes back to it's bent shape until you bring it up through the top again. It can't be wide/long enough bent to get both the diameter near the bottom AND the widest point of the bottle. And does it make it an odd angle to use when applying - or spring all around when you're applying to your lid??? Someone please buy and let me know...

  20. Honest to goodness...
this is so frustrating that they KNOW
there have been requests to change the bottle so they BEND THE BRUSH?? Really??? Sheesh.
    lol
Too be honest, I find UDPP way too drying, I wonder if anyone else has this problem?
Also, I did saw my UDPP it really wasn't that hard, I just used a serated kitchen knife and sliced it three times, to scoop out all the product! I filled up a little jar (to put it in perspective...half the size of a MAC pigment container) to the RIM. BURSTING. I still have most of it left, too. I seriously got months more use out of it, and that was AFTER i was going to toss it!
I am going to start a petition. Damnit Urban Decayyyy!

  21. i own two of the udpp (got them in a duo set from ulta) i'm about to use one bottle up and it's super hard to get the product out when i know there's so much left! after seeing this post i litterally just picked it up and bent the wand...it helps a little but it goes back to it's old shape which is fine..but i just don't want to cut mine open..=(!

honestly i don't even really like udpp...it does the job GREAT but it irrates my dry lids so much. does anyone know of another primer for dry lids?

  22. Deborah- "What is their "love it or leave it" guarantee? Does anyone know?"

Hi Deborah- It's just their return policy if you don't love it, you can send it back to them and they will refund your money

  23. wow, that's a big one!! i only need the small one since i only use it sparingly. hmmm..i'm curious to know if the new wand will actually solve the problem. maybe it'll help out a bit?? we'll see..

  24. I have the new sin potion that I ordered during the friends and family sale, so it came with the new brush. I can't really tell the difference just yet since its rather new so a ton of product comes out compared to my other one where its on the verge of not reaching anything anymore. I'm tempted to maybe wash the wands and stick the new one in my old one and see if I get anymore product out. Other than that, haven't really noticed a difference. [:

  25. I really want to get a hold of Sin and I´m sooo happy that UD´s making the original PP even larger! UDPP is the best thing ever.
(By the way, I´ve added a translation gadget to my blog and hope you´ll check it out sometime now when it´s readable for others than non-Swedish speaking people).
