Naimies & Graftobian Haul

I've been feeling a bit sick the last couple days, so hopefully I can get Part II of my Luminess review up soon. Just been having those days where I am feeling like a hot mess LOL. Since Naimies is by my work, I thought i'd stop by and grab a few things. If y'all don't know what Naimies is, it's like a playground for the makeup/skincare/and hair obsessed! I bought a Naimie's small tapered brush to use as a lip brush (works great with OCC Lip Tars!), got a few wedge sponges, a pink nailpolish, Ben Nye Visage Powder in "Banana" which is a setting/finishing powder that warms up your complexion and doesn't produce a white cast like other finishing powders, I also got the Ben Nye Neutral Set Colorless Powder which has an anti-perspirant to help combat sweat shining through your makeup; after all it is theatrical makeup! It's great for setting cream or liquid foundations, and got Orly's Smudge Fixer nailpolish.

I also bought a few things from paintandpowder.com, they have tons of stuff for a budding makeup artist, such as mixing palettes, sponges, disposable wands, etc. as well as theater makeup. I just got a mixing palette so I have a place I can mix pigments, cream foundation or my OCC lip tars; got a spatula to scoop makeup out to keep things sanitary, a refill pan of Graftobian HD powder in "Soft Ivory", and Graftobian HD Cream Foundation in "Buttermilk".  I can't wait to do a review on some of this stuff!

So you can get idea of how big it is compared to my hand...

  1. pretty! thanks for leaving a comment! haha we never get satisfied with ourselves. when i cut it, i regret it right after seeing the strands of hair gone..but when its long you get super sick of it! but yes, with long hair you can do a lot more.

i bet you'd look really pretty as a bride with long hair :)

  4. @ Jamie- Aww thanks! I was even thinking if having it all up but I am not sure if I like the feeling of having my back exposed like that haha.

@ Nikki- Have a good one!

@ Christiana- Yeah! I love their powders, I had the compact powder (when I stopped blogging for awhile) and hit the pan on it so thought i'd get the refill since it's so much cheapers and just put it in my Z palette...but now I am debating to get the compact again so I have one in my purse, but I still have some MAC Sheer Pressed powder left so I am debating to finish that one first LOL. But glad to hear the loose powders work great! I hear the cream foundations are just as good, I mainly wanted to use it as a concealer so I should try using it as a foundation to see how it goes. I like the idea of the banana powder not being stark white, I hope they do well in Cali's summer heat!
