*I am trying the Ardell Lash and Eyebrow Growth Accelerator, it's in testing phase right now, I will use it for a week or two and let you know my review, as some of you asked. :)
What I used:
Eyes:
- MAC PP in "Painterly" all over the lid up to brow bone
- MAC "Vanilla" Pigment all over the lid
- UD eyeshadow in "Peace" on the lid and lower lashline
- UD eyeshadow in "Ransom" on contour (outline)
- Indelible Gel Eyeliner in "Black Out"
- L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara
Sorry i've been taking only "EOTD" (eye of the day) lately, now that the BF lives with me, mornings have been so grueling since both of us get ready at the same time, and I hardly even have the time to take a full face pic! It's weird having to "share" my space, I am so not used to it, lol. I am the eldest and I was the only child for 9 years before my sister was born, so I NEVER, EVER had to share a room, share clothes...NOTHING; so it's weird now that some of my stuff (like my drawers and shampoo, lol) is also his. It's cute, but man it takes a lot of getting use to! I hope I don't sound selfish, it's not that I don't like sharing, it's just weird since I never had to really share much being the only child for so long, but I am sure the same goes for him as he is the oldest and has a younger sister and brother.
My family just adores him so they are perfectly fine with the arrangement, he got a job 5 minutes away from my house, so he ended up moving in with me since he used to live in Azusa (about 40-45 minutes away from my house), and with gas prices going up, it was the only logical thing to do, especially since LA traffic sucks.
Playing house has it's perks, he cooks for me, haha. And it's nice to watch your favorite TV shows with someone. He is even meddling in my skincare stuff! That lotion stealer! LOL.
That looks beautiful Vanessa :)
ReplyDeleteI thought I'd let you know that I bought MAC Snob l/s today because it looks so pretty on you!

Hi Vanessa
ReplyDeleteI recently discovered your blog and I'm not ashamed to say I check it several times a day. You update so often it's addictive!
I just wanted to say thanks for providing so much helpful tips and tricks, as well as testing all these new products out!!
Yummy look! I didn't know the UD eyeshadows were so pigmented:) Thanks for the view on the MUFE cream bases.
ReplyDeletethese colours come out so vibrant on you! i didn't know urban decay colours were that vivid.
ReplyDeleteHaha you guys sound so cute! I am totally in love with the purple! And thanks for the MUFE pictures, I was going to get them but not anymore, I don't like that they stay creamy all the time :/ Oh well, I save money! But I do like the leaf green EOTD that you did!

Great look but I'd prefer to see your whole face! :P you make it sounds so cool to cohabitate w/ your bf. I know that if I do it w/ mine, we're going to bicker about everthing, lol. Annoying habits will start to show up and I'll probably voice my opinion, haha. You two sound like such a cute couple!
ReplyDeleteJon moved in with you? OmG..haha now I gotta watch out for him too hehe..I'm sure you both are having fun playing house. It's great practice for the real thing!
ReplyDeletethat blue is sooo vibrant. looks good. and that is so cute, you and the bf living together. haha, it does take some getting used to for sure. just wait until you have kids, then you definitely gotta share EVERYTHING.
ReplyDeletegorgeous as always ~~
ReplyDeletelove the Sephora look, BTW
I also recently discovered your Blog and am now officially a "groupie"! Congrats on the new living situation :) That's very exciting!
ReplyDeletethe color payoff is awesome! i need to get my hands on some UD e/s. i don't know how that will happen but if there's a will there's a way. lol. oh and a big yay on the bf moving in with you. i always used to think of it as having a sleepover every night...forever and it was always fun. that is, until it starts getting old and the true laziness starts to kick in. j/p. lol.
ReplyDeletei love the contrast of the dark blue/purple and light blue. PRETTY! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Vanessa! Living w/a boy can be a pain and a joy all the same! I know what you mean about getting use to sharing things. It's hard when you've lived alone for so long. But, it's great to come home to the man you love. BTW~ your eyes look amazing! :]
ReplyDeletethose UD e/s are really pigmented - love the bright blue on you!
ReplyDeleteLiving with your bf will take some getting used to - at least you have multiple rooms, so you have more "space" between each other, but sharing is a learning experience :) at least you don't have to share a studio, haha! That's great that your parents are cool with the cohabitation & that he found a job near you :)
Great EOTD :) That's so sweet your family was ok with your bf moving in :) Give it time, he will drive you more crazier now that you guys live together LOL It's not bad either. I love talking my hubby's ear off, even though I know he's not listening :P Having a cook around is def a perk! hihihi ^_^;
ReplyDeleteAWww yay for your boy moving in :D It's really great how your family was fully supportive of that arrangement, everyone I know who's doing the same thing is doing it against their family's wishes. You're going to have such a great time :DD
ReplyDeleteYay for UD Peace ;D It's always been one of my faves [:
Thats such a gorgeous EOTD,the urban decay e/s are really pigmented so gotta get some, ooo you are so lucky to have someone to cook for you hehehe.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I think the question here is... what is the lotion FOR?!?! j/k j/k You guys sound like the cutest couple in the world. I'm looking forward to some awesome anecdotes!
ReplyDeleteThat blue is soooo brilliant; it makes me want to try something similar! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
Looking hot as always! The bf doesn't "officially" live with me but he might as well since he's always home when I am!! lol!! My mom always complains about it but when he's NOT here she's always like.. "omg where is he?!?! did you two break up?!?! go apologize!!" O.o
ReplyDeleteHey Nessa, I know how odd it is at first when your boyfriend moves in. I live with my boyfriend too and I remember how weird it was to share and have to cook for someone else, etc. Anyway, let us know about the Lash Growth Accelerator. I think I have one coming in the mail.
ReplyDeletethe look is vibrant and pretty, just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, I lived with my bf for year and half during my time at uni.. sometimes it was abit intense but most the time i enjoyed the company. Its cute to hear your bf cooks for you!! my bf did the same, he's a much better cook than me!!
wow!!! these colors are GORGEOUS. i'm gonna color print this EOTD and copy it. :0)
ReplyDeletei think living together first (before marriage) is sooo important. that saying "you never really know a person 'til you live with 'em," is so true.
Hey vanessa, don't know if you're interested, but jic, cvs is having a buy one get one free of h.i.p. eye, lip and face products starting tomorrow. i got the early edition of the sunday newspaper so i thought i'd give you the heads up (hopefully it applies to people in cali as well, i'm in FL).
ReplyDeleteGOSH that blue shadow is to die for! Great job workin it. Ah, you're no good for my wallet girl. Now I gotsta go get it! :) lol
ReplyDeleteohhhh i loveee this look on you...i'm totally copying! i know what you mean with sharing space...my boyfriend has his own apt but he pretty much lives with me...he only goes home once a month to drop off rent...but he sleeps, eats, showers and everything from my place...i've gotten used to getting ready in the dark since he goes to work after me, lol, but it's so worth it...i wish you guys the best!
ReplyDeleteOoooohhhhhhhhhhh what a cute tshirt! too cute!
ReplyDeleteYou are very organised! my room looks like your "bomb site" ALL THE TIME !!! :)
Its always different inviting the boy in. Suddenly there are wires everywhere!! And one day you go to use your hair wax and its all gone....
Love the colors! Another great look as always. :)
ReplyDeleteReminds me of that one Sephora look back from the holidays. Remember that? It looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteOh girl, I know exactly what it's like to share. We have a tiny butt bathroom and I literally stand there with my hands crossed waiting for Hubbo to get over himself and share the mirror! Now why exactly does a guy need a mirror in the first place? C'mon!! Lol.
