More NYX Round Lipstick Swatches
A couple of you misinterpreted my previous blog in regards to the "honor killing" mention, if you read it correctly, I said it's what THEY labeled it as (as in the police officer said that at the press conference in the news) you can Google it and watch the video when he prematurely says this before they really figured out what was going on. I didn't say I agreed with it, or that it was a fact, I simply just stated that's what THEY labeled it as when it is CLEARLY NOT an honor killing, but that he felt it was the honorable thing to do. Read the entire post people before you assume things!

ReplyDeleteit is indeed a small world! lets have another blogger pow wow that would be fun! n my skin isn't as perfect as u think it is lol i think the mufe hd powder really helps in smoothing out my huge nose pores hehe n ive got a lot of blemishes but thanks to lorac its all hidden away =P

ReplyDeleteBtw, I understood what you meant in the previous post when you said the murder was being described (by people in the article) as an "honor" killing. What a shame. It's always a pity to read things like that, and I'd imagine it shook you a little bit, living so close by.
When I was at home this summer, an estranged husband murdered his mother-in-law and injured his wife a few blocks from where we live. I didn't know them, but I still felt a chill driving past their home surrounded by police tape with my mom one night. Sometimes you don't think incidents like that happen in *your* neighborhood.
But they do, and you wake up the next day and life goes on, the world keeps spinning and time keeps moving even in the wake of tragedy. It's a bit odd at times. I don't know if there's a silver lining at all from the incident near you, maybe just the hope that other people with serious mental or financial woes will take steps to seek help before its too late. Or their loved ones will see the signs. (Maybe it's encouraging people to do that? according to this article.)
...such a waste though, of so much potential.
