Now that we have a lot more new employees at work, we now celebrate staff birthdays quarterly. So although my birthday is June 1st, I celebrated it yesterday along with my fellow co-worker and Gemini Chris and Maricel (who was sick yesterday). The cake was chocolate mousse that had delicious fresh strawberries and whip cream filling, and we had a side of vanilla ice cream to go along with it, man it was yummy! I told my BF I wish my birthday was every month and he was like "You and everyone else" haha.

Vegas- ahhh my second home. I love it. It's always fun to go there, even if I am not gambling or partying, it's just nice to know that you can always find something to do in the middle of the night. And the Wynn buffet was amazing as always, they didn't have the mini candied apples so I was bummed about that, but they had these cream puffs that were so good so it totally made up for it!

I love the Vegas pics. It makes me want to go back again! I especially like the ones of the Luxor. That's where the bf & I stayed when we went last summer.

OMG! we are birthday twins! i love hearing that someone has the same b day!
i want to visit Vegas again soooo badly. last time we went, my friend crashed the rental on the way there and we were stranded for like 4 hours. we were only like 45 minutes away too! totally put a damper on our trip. i didn't have a good time cuz the mood was killed.

Evo143- It depends when you go (like breakfast, brunch, dinner) but we did brunch/dinner time and it was like $25-$30 per person, but they have tons of food choices!
Janelle, Aquaracer and Leslie- I KNOW! I love cake too! And it wasn't too sweet with all that icing either!
Killacam- Awww that sucks! I had a minor accident on the way home from Vegas last year, some tourists hit the side of my car and yeah totally dampens the mood!

The cake looks good! That's cool that you guys get to dress casual at your job! The frosting on the chocolate cupcake reminded me of turd, but overall you're work seems like so much fun!
If you go back to Vegas again, there's a new casino called "M" that has a really good buffet. The desert is the BEST part, haha. But I wouldn't go during a busy time like the weekend because the wait on line is like an hour then. It's only about $20 per person :)
