MAC-a-licious Haulage
Labels: Beauty Picks, Eyeshadows, MAC, Pigments, Sephora, Swatches
So the boyfriend gave me some shopping money again...big mistake!
I went to the Glendale Galleria and went ka-ka-krazy! I first went to For Love 21 (weird name btw), the accessory extension of Forever 21 and bought me some more rings and necklaces (mind you NONE of this stuff I NEED), then next stop was Sephora, I am surprised I only left with 2 things! I was eye-ing like 10 things!
I bought a facial exfoliator brush because my cloth one just gave way, and I bought another blending brush. After seeing Karen's new purchase (makeupandbeautyblog.com) on the Smashbox Special Edition Breast Cancer Awareness Fusion Lights WITH brush, I wanted it so bad and kept playing with it to feel out if I really wanted it and because it was PINK made me want it more! But I controlled myself and didn't buy it because I don't think I would use it often, but yet would probably buy it for the brush and the pink handle.
Next stop...MAC! Meet the newest member of the family, "Teal":
I absolutely am in love with MAC's Teal Pigment, it's just such a gorgeous shimmery color that would really bring out anyone's eyes. (Btw, it's also available for sample for you inquiring minds!)
Reunited and it feels so good:
Of course I wouldn't show these without swatches!!!
Another thing I absolutely fell in love with, MAC Shadestick in "Fresh Cement", I really had the intention of purchasing "Sharkskin", but when I swatched it, it looked like something I already have so I didn't bother, but as soon as I swatched "Fresh Cement", I told the MA I had to have it! I also liked "Sea Me" but I just bought a good dupe from Avon.
I also got more refills, I wanted Zonk Bleu! but she gave me Shimmermoss by accident, so I have to exchange it, and I also ran out of my favorite eyeshadow Vex, so I bought the refill again. I also bought the Cumulus eyeshadow from the "Blue Storm" collection, I know I am a little late on getting my hands on it, but I thought I had that color, and turns out I don't! My total was $97 and something cents, hey im doing better, at least it's UNDER $100! haha ;)

Copperplate, Slate, and Swatches
Labels: Beauty Picks, Eye Makeup Photos, Swatches
Here are some swatches from my MMBB samples:
I also bought Covergirl's Gel Eyeliner in "Slate" which I just absolutely love! It's better than black eyeliner to me for a softer smoky look or for lining the eyes without looking so dramatic. Also a good dupe for some of MAC's eyeliners, and it DOES stay on!
The "slate" swatch:
I also played with my Matte2 eyeshadow in "Copperplate", another great eyeshadow to make a softer smoky look or for everyday wear. I used it to outline my crease.
Another item I am selling, BRAND NEW MAC eyeshadow in "Seedy Pearl":

Stu-stu-studio!
Labels: Things for SALEYou gals who know the 80's probably know that song...
I made a little mini studio (it's really a clear box), to take pictures of my items and I must say, I am happy with the way it turned out! I used white tissue paper to diffuse the light, and white paper as the background.
Below are some of the items I am selling, MAC Pigments are in the works as I am still waiting for the ones I ordered to arrive and because I want to take detailed photos of each along with swatches to help you gals out, but for now these are the ones I took in my new "studio", if you are planning on purchasing any, please leave a comment along with your email address and I can give you the total, I DO send INTERNATIONALLY, however I want to get the postage totals before I send, so please wait to hear confirmation from me BEFORE you send payment, just let me know the items you would like.
*ALL PRICES INCLUDE SHIPPING

So what do you gals think of my nifty studio? Pics come out awesome??
Bruised nose.
So my nose has been bruised from the inside for the past week...I don't know what I did for it to get that way, but it hurts if I even remotely try to touch it, even puckering my lips after putting on lipgloss sends a pain up my sinuses, making my eyes water. Ouch, totally NOT fun.
I might be stopping by the MAC store today and pick me up a few "my-nose-hurts-so-I-need-to-buy-me-something-to-make-me-feel-better" items, such as more pigments and perhaps a few refills I need, such as Vex. :)
Lately I have been buying more MAC items, but don't be too quick to dismiss me as a "MAC Addict" or a "MAC Whore", I am not there, yet. I still have love for my drugstore and non-mac brands. (I love you CVS, Target, and Sephora!) I have just been intrigued lately by the collections MAC comes out with, but there are so many great dupes out there, TONS.
But I am telling you, EVERY time I walk into the MAC store, I can never come out with spending LESS than $100. Argh, time to pull out my BF's credit card! Just kidding. He always tells me after I bring home more makeup, "babe that could have been our wedding cake", LOL. I am a girl, a girl who is addicted to makeup. I know, I need help dammit!
Anyway, I thought id add a link in here to make y'all go "no way!", a 10-year old in Belgium gives BIRTH, yes 10 years old, and the father is 13 years old. All I can say is, WHAT THE HECK???! All I know is that my kids are gonna be put on lockdown for a very long time. LOL.

Snob Swatch and Hair Dilemma
Labels: MAC, SwatchesThanks Stephie for reminding me about the SNOB swatch! I completely forgot, I had it and forgot to post!
I will do a tut with this lipstick, FULL FACE so you can get an idea of what it looks like since it's probably hard to tell from these swatches.
So here it is, MAC Lipstick in "Snob":
I am thinking about dyeing my hair, but I don't know if I should go darker like black, or keep my medium brown hair with caramel highlights and just get a touch up on the roots...usually in the winter I like going darker (also because it just looks healthier), but I think black hair makes me too pale...yet the BF likes it...what do you gals think I should do? (And no blonde, as I cannot pull that off LOL!)
MAC Holiday Collection Information
Prepare to drool ladies! Specktra has release more information on MAC's Holiday Collection, including pictures and details of colors in the quads, Limited Edition colors, pigments, lipglasses, and more!!!
Check it out: Specktra
For you ladies interested in purchasing sample MAC Pigments, I am still in the process of receiving them, so once I have them, I will have a list of what is available and just let me know which ones you want. I am trying to get some pigments that are hard to find! :)
Also, I will also be selling 15 pan MAC eyeshadow palettes and 6 pan BLUSH palettes, they raised their prices on them, they used to be about $10, and now they are close to $13 not including tax, so my prices on these WILL vary (depending on how many you order as postage is by WEIGHT) AND because I also have to purchase the bubble mailers I mail them in to protect the precious cargo! So it might be close to $20 for each one.
And for you gals who live in states or areas that DO NOT, or have trouble finding NYX Cosmetics, let me know if you are looking for certain items (eyeshadows, trios, etc) because I have a NYX store downstairs at work and I can get them for you. They have TONS of NYX stuff, but no Chrome Eyeshadows! :(
So that's just an update for y'all! I have so much stuff to get rid of!
MAC Haul # 21,453,649
LOL. Well it's really not that much, but damn it sure feels like it!
I ended up buying another MAC Pigment, Pink Mauved, Blush in Coygirl, Eyeshadows in Shale and Seedy Pearl, and my new favorite lipstick...Snob!
Here are also some MAC BLUSH swatches for you ladies who are inquiring:
Strata is my favorite because it goes with every outfit, very neutral and I think it fits my skintone nicely, Coygirl is a nice soft pinkish plum, and Dollymix is a shimmery sheertone bright pink. Gotta be careful not to go crazy with Dollymix because it is a bit bright...
I went to Wal-Mart with the BF and I ended up buying the Aquafina Facial Hydrator, I spray this on before I exfoliate and use my toner. It contains Vitamins A & C, Jojoba Oil, and Aloe.
Also, gals who send in questions or tutorial requests, etc., I will now be responding after your comments to make it easier for you and me, as some of you ask me questions and forget to leave your email or contact info, so I just don't answer it since there is nothing to reply to. So if you have asked a question in the past and don't see it here- answered, then please ask again with either your contact info or the blog entry your question or request pertains to. Then check back within 24 hours of that same blog entry for a response. Got it? I just think it makes things easier....
