Swatches: Wet n Wild Mega Last Lipsticks
The only thing I don't like about these, is that the stick itself when applying, feels a little thick and hard to control as opposed to smooth with a normal lipstick and sorta reminds of those huge kindergarten crayons. My peeve also, is that some of the older tubes do NOT have the shade names on the buttom, just the number, so it's hard to tell what shade you have (see below), however the new tubes do show the shade name as well as the number. However, at $1.99 you can't really expect much but the colors are pretty amazing for what it is.

MAC Casual Color Haul (Swatches)
I recently bought two of the lip and cheek pots from the "Casual Color" collection from MAC: "Out for Fun" which is a gorgeous coral color, and "Weekend Getaway", a blue mid toned pink. I personally just love these pots as a lipcolor, and not so much as a cheek color, only because I hate the dewy texture of it, BUT I do think it's great to have in your makeup bag and to be able to use it as a cheek color when you are in a rush, or have some place to go after work and need a "2 in 1".

teeze w/ eez teasing comb
Labels: Hair, Product ReviewsI have very flat hair, with no volume to it whatsoever. I am sure if you have seen my past posts of my hair normally, it's just stick straight and flat. I try to tease it with the regular rat tail combs, but it gets very tiring and tedious, and not to mention that sometimes it yanks on your hair.
Decided to try the teeze w/ eez comb ($12-14, www.teezeweez.com), which is a professional teasing tool to give us flat haired gals more boost and volume. Because there are three rows of teeth, you backcomb easily in half the time, and it does not tangle your hair. Giving you nice volume with less work and hassle. It has a long handle that's easy to grip, and the teeth are made of anti-static stainless steal, so you don't have to worry about static head or flyaways.
I really like this teasing comb, it's different, and most of all- does the trick and gives my hair lots and lots of volume. I just spritz a bit of hairspray on my hair and tease, and voila. Definitely something I always use now because it totally makes a difference! Just check out the pictures below!

Marshalls Find - Swivel Storage Caddy for $6.99
Labels: bargains, Storage
This was posted on my other blog (for budget fashionistas!) at www.girlonabudget.com, but since it IS makeup related, reposted it here as well. :)
I
use large pencil/pen cups from Staples & Office Depot to store my
lipglosses, because they are cheap and they are the perfect height for
my lipglosses, not too tall, and not too short. But i've been running
out of space since I have so many lipglosses and found this little gem
at the Marshall's by my work. It's a swivel storage caddy for only
$6.99. I imagine it's really for pens and the like, but I thought this
was great to store my lipglosses that do not have a home, and great for
pretty much anything such as mascaras, makeup brushes, makeup pencils,
etc.
What sold me was the swivel base, I like that it spins for
easy access to my lipglosses when I am trying to pick a color. For all
you artists, you can definitely decorate this and make it unique, in
case the stark white is too plain; the all white matches my makeup room
decor, so I am rolling with it.
They definitely have awesome finds at Marshall's. I also got a chic earring rack for $10 from there too (which will be in a separate post soon!)
