Christmas in September

.

I love coming home to packages! I get so giddy as if I don't know what's inside each box, LOL. I got my gorgeous Too Faced package from their nice sale they had, their anti-feathering lip pencil and their sample size Shadow Insurance (since I have a TON of UDPP left). I also got a couple of things from Alice Cosmetics.com, the eyelash guard (I got it mainly to prevent mineral eyeshadow fallout), and their microfiber cleansing cloth (similar to the Jane Iredale cleansing cloth) and you only need water to remove your makeup, and it's also re-usable and washable. Lastly, I got my "Walk to Remember" book, I know it's been YEARS since the movie came out, which by the way is my ALL-TIME favorite movie, why? Because I am such a sap!

I love this movie and I can watch it over and over again; so I decided to buy the book since I never read it. I read "The Notebook" and I loved the book as much as I loved the movie, so I thought this would be just as good. Could you believe I barely got it today and I am ALREADY finished with the book?!!! I can't believe I finished reading the book considering I was watching Gossip Girls, One Tree Hill, and The Hills...lol.

I'm glad you picked up the book! That's one of my favourite books. I cried even more reading the book than I did watching the movie. Lol. And the movie was in a different timeline than the book so at least there's no set similarity.

Have fun with your new package too!

i cried buckets with that book. so much better than the movie, IMHO. I think i use up about a medium box of kleenex that (while watching survivor). LOL!

the anti feathering lippencil looks promising. :)

Aww! It's nice to see someone else who reads. I used to read about 11 novels a week (when I bunked off college and hung out in the library all day) and now it's more like 3 a week, when I read them walking to/from work (I never look where I'm going) and on my lunch-hour.

Weirdly, reading on work breaks make them seem longer to me.

Promise to review the cloth when you've used it, that looks fascinating!

Thanks a lot for the response! I guess the Mehron palette really isn't for me, I'm too impatient with the removal process to even wear waterproof mascara. I get really freaked out when I see eyelashes and/or eyebrow hairs on my cotton rounds and wet wipes despite my best efforts to be gentle. I cannot imagine having to scrub paint off my face! I probably would have freaked out if I'd painted a mask and it didn't come off right away with a regular cleanser =X.

I am so bummed I missed the Monday night shows! My stupid cable went out, and I saw your previous post about Gossip Girl. OMG! The actress that plays the Duchess was on the morning news the other day and was talking about how shocking Monday's episode was going to be. Bleh. Anyway, you must be a speed reader or something for finishing that book in a day. I also read it after watching the movie (I actually borrowed the book from my brother!).

Aw Vanessa, I love A Walk To Remember! Soo cute and sad.

And luckily I did catch that GG episode, usually I watch them online because I have a class Monday nights -- but I played hookey. Shhh ;)

Nicholas Sparks is my all time favorite author. The Notebook is my favorite book - I didn't think the movie was as good and same goes for A Walk to Remember. To me, books are always better because it allows you to be imaginative with the characters.

Ahhhhh - One Tree Hill is back on tv?? I don't know what's going on anymore since I moved back to Japan! I need to start downloading!
