Here are the swatches from the Overrich collection, I ended up getting 6 of them (well actually I have 7 since I have had "Mauvement"), so the only one I did not end up getting was "Museum Bronze" just because it was sorta blah to me. I was SO disappointed because almost ALL the jars I bought were literally HALF EMPTY. I had to go back to exchange it right after work just because I didn't want the MUA's to think I took half of it and here I am trying to return it. I know that reader Maria also complained of the same thing, and coming across other blogs and forums, turns out that the pigment sizes changed from a whopping 7.5 to a 4.3 grams. Yet the MAC website still has it listed as 7.5. The reason for this they claim is that the Overrich pigments are more finely milled therefore have the same weight, but just more compressed. I don't know but I am personally disliking some of the collections- stickers on packaging (Fafi), and now this. I don't understand why pigments aren't $10 like they should be rather than $20 because we all know we can never use up an entire jar of pigment by ourselves in this lifetime! Especially if they are only filling it half-way!
I just might return "Antique Green" because it's kind of an ugly color to me and a full jar is unnecessary. My favorite colors are: Heritage Rouge (a nice deep brown burgundy color), Blonde's Gold (a neutral/bronzy gold shimmer), and CopperBeam (a deep chocolate brown with copper tones). I also liked "Vintage Gold", but "Golden Olive" and "Night Light" seem to be similar in color, not exact, but pretty close.

i forget whose blog it was, but i remember someone else mentioning that the new pigments contain a LOT less than other pigment jars...the weight on the packaging is something like half what it used to be, but they're still charging the same price.
i was curious to get a few of these pigments, but now that people have been mentioning this, i may pass...
ehh overrich didn't impress me much either! i really liked blonde's gold and i actually liked antique green! but i passed because i don't think i would ever use them
I EFFIN KNOW!..so tell me sis, were you able to exchange them?..i want to do that too, only i might be too late since i got mine last Friday..what do you think? i'm just afraid they would think that too..
Awh, I love Antique Green! I didn't like Vintage Gold much until I saw your swatch - it must look better with flash.
Pigments are $30 a pot here ._.
MAC ought to do palettes of mini-pigment selections in smaller tubes =S
But yeah, the size was one of the selling points and the reason we justified spending so much on one colour every time. If they permanently cut the size, stands to reason they ought to cut the price.
I'm loving heritage rouge!

i can´t wait for these pigments (ordered of course) to arrive, the color forms pigments were disappointing so i hope these are much better.
are the pigments similiar in texture as the mauvement pigment?
thanks! :)
omgosh your jars were have empty? That is craziness. I bought my first pigments from this collection, i used samples before and they filled mine to the lid, thank goodness.
I heard the same thing so I ended up just buying samples for the colors I wanted. With this and the new depotting policy, I say BOO on MAC!! :(
i too noticed that! but the odd thing was that some were completely full and some were half. i looked on the bottle and they all say 4.3 grams. sucks! boo =(
i really like heritage rouge and vintage gold!
I'm so loving Golden Olive and Vintage Gold though I'm normally not so much of a gold eyeshadow person.
I love vintage gold and definitely agree that the price should be cut. But I stick to Mac eyeshadow because I definitely won't use all of the pigment so it's a waste of time. Plus I have been looking for a kelly green eyeshadow or pigment, and I don't want to order online. Because I'm afraid I will get the wrong color sent to me. Do you know any cosmetics lines that have that color?

i was goin to skip on this one but i'm really liking heritage rouge...pretty!
Sounds like the grocery store shrink ray has hit MAC. Less product for the same price. I'm not a MAC fan, but this is a lousy thing to do to all the Macinistas who are loyal to their products.
Is it just me or are most of these colors just kind of 'meh'?
damn pigment jars half full? that is wack! whack I say!
i bought samples of these pigments since i never end up using a whole jar anyway...
did you return em?
They are down sizing everything nowadays without changing the price or even upping the price! Damn companies! I'm liking Mauvement though, it's so pretty!
Soo pretty! I think I'm going to hold out until people start selling samples online (; haha
I really don't think the $20 price is fair even though there's a shit ton of product. Who's going to end up using all of that?! Jeebuz.
u know i seriously think they should probably just sell this in probably half of its size and charge us half of the amount... honestly who the heck can finish 1 jar?
so were u able to exchange for a full jar? cuz i heard that it's half a jar everywhere! let us know! :)
I thought I just got a tester jar of Heritage Rouge by mistake, but I guess not. That's so dumb, getting half the product for the same price? I picked up my piggies on Saturday but haven't had time to go back and see if I can exchange them. I don't think I'm gonna buy anymore pigments unless the price goes down or the product amount stays at 7.5.
Yeeouch! Less pigment, same price? huh.
I do love the look of CopperBeam though! Did you know I've never even tried a MAC product? Crazy, huh? I'm skerred I might get addicted. LOL
Thanks for the swatches girl!
