Home Sweet Home

.

***NOTE:*** Since I just got back from New York and I don't have a lot of time right now, I am NOT taking any orders of pigment samples that are less than 7. For those who have already emailed me regarding sample orders, don't worry, I will accept your orders, just give me a few days to get back to you. I apologize for this, I just need a break from it to catch up on things!

I am finally back. In my own bed, driving my own car, taking a shower in my bathroom...I love it. Nothing is better than home. I missed everything!

Sorry I haven't updated like usual ladies, I have been so busy and now that I am back, there are tons of things I need to catch up on (unpacking, laundry, work, etc) so I appreciate your patience!

I think I am coming down with a cold as I am feeling a bit sick, perhaps the change of weather and being on an airplane with recycled air and surrounded by sick people is to blame. I have the worst headache and I am super exhausted, with the time change AND the time difference of 3 hours, I am pooped!

The only thing I will really miss about New York is the shopping! They have everything there! Bergdorf Goodman, Henri Bendel, MAC of course, and a bunch of other cool places. As soon as I get a moment I will try and upload some of the pics I took.

I went to the MAC PRO Store, which was super hard to find! It's upstairs in some building and it's not even labeled outside, I had to ask around to find it...it's like some hidden place! I was the only one there, which was quite embarrassing as they probably thought "WOW this girl has no life to be here at 10 am", but hey I went hours before my flight so I had no choice but to go that early. It was seriously like a playground to me, unfortunately Emerald Green was a tad too bit of a lighter green than I wanted. I really love the green color "Envy" from MadMinerals, that is the PERFECT green. I am really surprised I walked out with ONLY 2 things: Golden Lemon Pigment and Sculpting Powder in Sculpt.

SWATCH:

And yes ladies, I am shipping out your pigments tomorrow!! Please let me know when you get them, you should also have received an email with tracking info. :)

You gals keep me busy!

My new light up mirror from AVON! Now I can put makeup in the dark! Cool eh?

Hi Nessa, would just like to ask your advice on packing makeup for a trip! I am going to Toronto for student exchange this coming semester and am super worried about how to pack my makeup so that they won't crack or break as has happened to me so many times before :((( Whatever makeup I will be bringing will be in my hand carry luggage so I'll be extra careful with it, but still! If you've got any useful tips on how to protect makeup (particularly mac pressed eyeshadows in their pots and quads) please share!! :D

Glad to hear your trip back home was safe and sound!

Too bad you didn't like Emerald Green. I think its a beautiful color. But my favorite MAC pigment right now is Golden Olive! You should try it! I got a sample of it and am loving it!

Can't wait to see you do a tutorial on Golden Lemon!

Hey Vanessa. Thanks for checking out my up-and-starting blog =)

Glad to hear you had a great trip and that you're now back at home. It's always nice being back in your own bed and using your own bathroom, lol.

If its ok, do you mind sharing where you got your pigment sample containers from? I have pigments in vials that aren't as user-friendly to work with since the opening is a bit small to accommodate any brush known to man =/

Well, I'm looking forward to your contouring tutorial. And very nice mirror. Have always thought of picking me up one of those.

Hi love! I'm happy that you got back safely and that you had a good time! :]

I missed you and your blogs! :P And Silk Naturals has lipglosses too! They're sheerer compared to her lipsticks, very subtle and natural. but sometimes I like a little "oomph" so i had to pick them up. So far I'm loving them, glad I bought them. :)

there's really no where else quite like home!!
golden lemon looks very pretty as well :)
I am really thankful for your blogs and stephie's and a few others since I'm the kind of gal that's klutzy if I use more than one color shadow on my eyes lol

Hi, wow it seems like u know much much more about makeup than i do. Which is why I was wondering if I could order some pigment samples. I read your blog and i see that u are not accepting orders that are less than 7. I have never tried MAC pigments at all and have recently found an interest in MAC makeup. I would love to order all of your 8 pigment sample colors. My name is Susie and you can reach me at Staing@temple.edu. Thanks a bunch and I hope to hear from you soon :-)

Hi I just stumbled upon your page and would love to request some pigment samples. I believe you have 8 different sample pigment colors but are now down to 7 since you do not have viz-a-violet anymore. I would gratefully appreciate it if you could send me some pigment samples since I have never tried MAC pigments before. I would like to order all 7 of your samples and if you have more colors, please let me know. My name is Susie and you can reach me at Staing@temple.edu. Thanks a bunch and hope to hear from you soon :-)

Hey, I love your website. Do you give any try samples away for free? That would be cool.. if you had some sort of A give away or something. Anyways.. cool new stuff

Nessa! Thank you kindly for sharing about the pigment jars. I definitely have to order some. Oh I wish there was a PRO store on my island =( When I went back home to the bay a few months ago, I visited the one in SF but didn't know much about anything outside of eyeshadow. So needless to say, that's all I bought.

Anyhow, have a great weekend my dear =)

CANDY- Hi there! I will definitely do a blog on that! I travel a lot too so I know how hard it is to travel with makeup, especially the ones that break easily!

MOCHA- I liked the Emerald Green Pigment, it was just not the green I was looking for. So I ended up getting the Envy eyeshadow from MadMinerals instead because that color is super gorgeous!

STEPHIE- I love the scultping powder I wish I got it sooner! I can't wait till the duos come out I might nab those ones too! The mirror was like $4 on eBay! :) I love it, it's neat haha. Feels good to be back home!
